Production Strategy
1) I plan to wander through alley ways and look for places that seem like they lead to other worlds and so on. At least I think that is the story I want to tell. I have noticed an alley way on Brady St. that has a statue of a faceless lion in front of it, like a guard keeping things from leaving the alley. There is something that can be done with that I believe.
2) This time I plan to do more night shooting because it just seems much harder to do but that is usually when I am most inspired. So I will be limited only to places that have enough light.
3) I will only use noises that have nothing to do with the image but in some way make both the images and the sounds mean new things. I know I plan to use a lot of WOOMPH noises and turn the sensitivity way up on my recorder.

Drift Assessment#4
4) My favorite experience was with the striped sheet in the tree. I have no idea where it ended up going. I was afraid I was going to see it tangled and dead-looking in a soggy ditch when all the snow melted but as far as I know it is elsewhere. It affected me because it was a pure moment in time, unexpected and it was personal. I don’t know if anyone else would care, or if I even made that good of a 30 second clip out of it, but it felt amazing to have a moment like that find me. It makes one want to go looking for others or gives hope that I don’t have to be completely in control of my life that it isn’t so bland. There are places out there. Dancing with a discarded piece of trash can make me feel connected to something I can’t explain. Neat.
